Structured cabling

Structured cabling providing data, voice and video transmission over the same physical cabling is the basis of the communication infrastructure for so-called intelligent buildings. Cable distribution, terminated in sockets and patch panels, are located in data cabinets together with active elements controlling and providing access to the Internet, voice services and data. Through the currently used systems, it is possible to implement a fixed data connection with a lifespan of 25-30 years with parameters that allow you to adapt to the requirements of transmission and communication protocols in the future. It is thus possible to ensure high variability for future adjustments and transfer of network technology during organizational changes.

Optical networks are usually designed to interconnect greater distances between buildings, in industrial areas, as a backbone vertical network in high-rise buildings and even as a horizontal interconnection within one floor if the segment length exceeds 90 m. In comparison with metallic cable  it is possible to use optical fiber in multimode design up to 2000 m in length without loss of performance.

The most sophisticated installations of data networks are implemented in the construction of data centers used for storage and processing of large volumes of data in secure premises of large institutions, ministries and in the satin corporate sphere built by a system of thin clients. The technologies with the highest demands on traffic requirements are used here, which raises the emphasis on the flawless development of such networks.
The design and installation of data networks is governed by the basic international standard ISO / IEC 11801 2nd edition, which specifies the structure, topology and technical requirements for components and transmission path. The standard also specifies parameters and testing methods for installed cabling. A well-executed installation is protected by certified measurement with the resulting measurement protocol. Many years of experience of IQ Group with the implementation of data networks allow companies to participate in building data centers, which are among the most demanding installations in this area. Maintaining the trend with the advancement of modern technologies must be ensured by constantly increasing the expertise of data network staff and working with partners providing quality components and cabling systems.
